All bigger assets are custom made for this location. I used textures from Substance Source and Poliigon as a base and adjusted them heavily to fit my vision.

Textures are shared between a variety of assets to keep the memory low. The texel density of the final game is 2048 for the environment and 4096 for everything with text on it.

While most furniture and big assets use weighted normals and tileable textures, I did make unique textures for some of the smaller props to boost the amount of details.

A location from the story-driven VR experience "Letzte Worte", which can be downloaded on Steam for free.

My responsibilities included the entire 3D production from modeling, texturing, shading to lighting and the setup of the pipeline. The game was developed with Unreal Engine 4.19. To play it, you need the HTC Vive or Oculus Rift with a room-filling game area, 360 ° localization and motion controls.
